Turn ON the Set time automatically feature.Choose 'Downloads and updates' from the dropdown menu. Open Store (or Microsoft Store) app and click on your Microsoft Account icon next to the Search box. Turn the Instant apps toggle off and back on. Open Settings -> Apps & notifications -> Default apps -> Opening links. Make sure that your apps are updated to the latest version. If the app is still not working for you, try to turn Instant Apps on and off and see whether that helps. Change the time by like an hour or something so it is not correct Sometimes the reason why apps won't open is because they are outdadet, not updated.Under Change date and time, click the Change button.Here is what I did to fix my issue and I hope it will help with yours:Ĭheck your Date and Time settings and make sure the date/time and time zone are correct.

But then the paid app could not be downloaded (forgot the error message.). (For paid apps) Uninstall and re-install the paid app.In "Store" app, click on my picture > Settings > Manage your devices, and then remove all devices with apps installed under my Microsoft account.Can only open the "Store" app and some built-in apps (even Mail could not be launched sometimes). Sometimes, almost all apps I downloaded (paid/free) do not open - the startup screen showed up but then the app window quickly disappeared / nothing appeared at all.
